Open Day on Equine Facilitated Human Development & Relational Horsemanship

Our Open Day on Equine Facilitated Human Development & Relational Horsemanship was help on the 14th of April 2018.

The day explored some of the benefits of working with horses in a therapeutic setting and brought together a mix of individuals completely new to this type of approach and others who had some basic level of experience in it.

The aim of the Open Day was to encourage participants to discover their own inner sense of calm in a fun, engaging and innovative way, building:
• SELF AWARENESS – horses are highly sensitive and responsive to feelings and body language
• EMOTIONAL FITNESS- horses give you clear and instant feedback to changes in emotional states
• COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP SKILLS- responding in the moment and without any agenda or judgement
• LEADERSHIP SKILLS- helping establish health boundaries

5 individuals joined us for the day and we at Equus Ferus gained much in learning and growth by working with them. The beauty of type of work we do is that the session or workshop we run, teach us as well.

” Thank you for a wonderful day with Equus Ferus. The whole team worked beautifully together to create an amazing Horse-Earth-Centred experience”
